happy anniversary

Today is our wedding anniversary. We don't have anything special for each other. We woke up early because the little man was already whining at five in the morning and I had to bring him to the living room so the husband can get more sleep. I don't know if we will go out to eat later tonight because we did not make any plans. Maybe we will do something special this weekend. It has been three years to this day when we got married. It was in the middle of winter too, in cold Louisville, lol. I was wearing a dress and I was freezing cold. We were married in a nice Italian restaurant with only our party present at the time. It was solemn yet fun. And all but me had a little champagne afterwards. We still plan on getting married in the Philippines one day when we can afford it probably the same date we were married here. When the husband greeted me earlier he commented it doesn't feel like it has been three years at all. Like what I always say time flies when you are having fun. Although I am not saying it was all fun :) There were unhappy moments but the happy ones more than make up for any glitch.

To my dear husband, happy anniversary! I am glad it was you I found five years ago. Thank you for this gorgeous little man we have together. Although people often claim he looks more like you, I still think he looks like me. Thank you for giving allowances to my snotty attitude. I know you feel like strangling me sometimes but I understand that. I can be real bad when I want to, lol. I love you so much and I promise to be here for you all the time. Here's to a lot more years (and kids?) together.
