important information
I have visited amyafrica.com, a Qlog, which is a blog which answer questions about how-to's in analytics, SEO, email marketing, and other related topics. Ever since I started getting in the web I have heard so much about optimization so I could earn while doing something I like. For the life of me though, I could not take all the information in. I end getting frustrated just reading at all the terminology and instead of learning something at the end of each topic I read, I do not. I am telling you it is frustrating to say the least. I really want to learn so one of these days (when I have enough guts, money, and knowledge) I can set up my own online business. For now I will visit Amy Africa's Qlog to gain more information. I like the way her site is set-up. Everything is accessible and the pages load pretty quick. I also like the fact that she combines humor and information in her post. On reading one of her posts, I realized I need to learn more if I want to be successful. After all Amy said customers do not care much about a web page's design which I thought was the end all and be all of website building. Was I wrong! You want to know what customers want? Head on over at http://www.amyafrica.com and see for yourself. I know I will come back when I have the time to read more of her posts and know her answers to people's queries.

nissin cup noodles
I called the sister-in-law (brother's wife) this morning. I had a very huge favor to ask from her-to send me Nissin cup noodles seafood flavor made from Japan. Di ba sosyal? Lol. I just have this crazy craving for that particular kind of noodles and no imitation will do. It has to be the real thing. She said SM grocery stores carry the product so she is going to buy me some along with other things I want in that box. I told her to taste it first though and make sure it is the real thing before she sends me anything because I don't want her to spend money on something I will not have any use of. I hope to hear from her by next week. I am already excited!

i want the xbox 360
I have visited different blogs in almost two years of blogging and I have seen cool prizes on blog contests but this is the first time I want to join. You know why? Because I want to win one of the prizes on the contest and that is an Xbox 360 Elite Gaming System. Should I win, it will be my first time to own one. I really would like to own one. I know I could buy this product on stores but why should I when it is free should I win the contest? The contest I am talking about is from It's a Blu World. No, you do not have to buy the energy drink BluFrog which is supposed to be taking the world by storm, to be able to join the contest. Although if you are wild about energy drinks, you might want to try it considering it is said to be made with all natural ingredients. Anyway, there are easy ways to join the contest and these are either leaving a blog comment on their page (which I am going to do), or tweet on twitter why you entered and which experience you would choose, and last, if you have a blog write a blog post about the contest. Aren't these steps easy? So head on over to itsabluworld.com and decide which one of the five fabulous prizes you want to win. If you do not like the Xbox gaming system you can always opt for spending New Year's eve in New York, or you might want to go to Lolapalloza in Chicago. If you are into sports, you might be interested to win a Richard Petty racing experience or go to Aspen for the Winter X Games.

happy birthday
I received an email today from a college friend greeting me a happy birthday. I was surprised. Why? Because it is not my birthday. It is still the middle of the year. I don't celebrate my birthday until after Christmas. So I emailed back saying just that and he replied he had an email from a social networking site reminding him it is my birthday today. Talk about messed up, lol. Well, we got that out of the way so all is well. It reminded me of a mistake I did due to Friendster. I emailed a friend on my list telling her happy birthday when it turned out it was not her birthday. Wonder what happened there? A glitch maybe?

barbecue pinoy style
I fixed my own Filipino style barbecue a little while ago. I found a blog which talked about how to fix barbecue and I followed it and sure enough it was good. Although I put a little too much lemon on mine but I think it still was delicious. I love the way the author shared the recipe, she did not write how much of the ingredients should I use. I followed my own taste and it turned out fine. I am keeping her recipe because not only was it simple, the end result was more to my liking. I saved some of the barbecue for the next meal. I am a happy pinay right now although I was not supposed to eat anymore since I already had dinner prior to the barbecue. Guba na naman diet ni madam dah!

nasty
There was a worm on my coffee! Yuck! I made so much ruckus after finding a worm floating on my cup that the husband did not know what to do. We do not know where it came from and it bugs me like crazy. What if it was from the can? It would be a waste to throw an expensive can of coffee away. But if it was contaminated there was no other way right? There might be a chance it was from the cupboard and it accidentally dropped on my cup. After all, the cupboard is old. There was no way it crawled to get to the cup though because the cup was hot since I use boiling water on my coffee. Wait, is there a chance it might have been in the pot? But I washed it before using. I am baffled. I so want to drink coffee right now but the image of the worm all curled up and very dead is itched in my mind still. What a morning!

corned beef
I am craving for Argentina corned beef right now. For those who do not know, it is a brand from the Philippines. I love its taste so much and I am craving for it like crazy. I had a taste of this particular brand months ago when I chanced a few cans at a Filipino store but that was it. I tried to order more but the store owner said it was hard to get. I guess when something is next to impossible to get that is when the cravings get so bad. If is isn't crazy. One of these days, when we have the the money, I might ask my parents to send me another package with my favorite goodies from the Philippines. My father complains how shipping is more expensive than the items inside the box but I don't care. All I want is to get a little taste of the things I was used to. If only there is a store I can get Argentina corned beef. Hays!

fly for free
I have heard from friends that Colorado is a beautiful place. The mountains is glorious and breathtaking. I have also read stories about the state and it is all good. No wonder Telluride Tourism is booming. Plenty of people want to be in a quiet place where they can commune with nature and do things one can only do in a place like Telluride. I personally would want to see the Telluride Balloon Rally. The image of the skies being littered with colorful hot air balloons should be awesome. The husband and his sister will love this place. They are both into activities which are nature oriented and fun. Besides this will be a new experience. We have talked last year of visiting other states mostly those which have something different to offer. And what good timing since Telluride, Colorado (www.visittelluride.com) is hosting twenty weekend festivals and events this summer and is promoting a special "4th Flies Free". Should we have the money and we decide to go, when we buy three tickets we can get the fourth ticket free for the sister-in-law. Isn't it amazing? I hope we have the money to spare this year. If not then we can go next year. I really love to visit places like this. It will be good for the whole family.
